Check out the betting odds for Saturday’s UFC Rio Rancho card, where Corey Anderson is favored to get past Jan Blachowicz in their main event rematch.

UFC Rio Rancho kicks off tonight (February 15th) from the Santa Ana Star Center in New Mexico. The card’s featured matchup will see a top tier rematch of light heavyweights, when the #5 ranked, Corey Anderson, collides with the #6 ranked, Jan Blachowicz. Bloody Elbow is back with the betting odds.

In the UFC Rio Rancho main event, the oddsmakers like them some Corey Anderson. The winner of four-straight, including a recent knockout of Johnny Walker, can be scooped up with a favored moneyline of -220. As for his opponent, who has won six of his last seven, is on deck with underdog odds around +200. The first time these two squared off was way back at UFC 191 in 2015. That bout was listed at pick’em odds, with both men available at lines of -110. Anderson went on to take a unanimous decision.

If whoever wins this time around, does so in spectacular fashion, then they have a strong chance of being the next challenger in line to face Jon Jones for his light heavyweight belt. If the fight is a snoozer, much like the last one, then that shot at gold will likely disappear.

The over/under for this 25-minute matchup has been set at 4.5 rounds. Both prop bets come with minus lines. The ‘Under’ bet is favored here at -112, with a -103 comeback on the ‘Over.’ The bookies do not foresee this light heavyweight tilt going the the distance. The exotic bet ‘Fight doesn’t go to decision’ clocks in at about -130, with “Fight goes to decision’ being a slim underdog option at +100.

The UFC Rio Rancho co-main event will be a battle between longtime UFC veteran, Diego Sanchez, and the wild backflipping, Michel Pereira. Both men are coming off of loses, but it’s Pereira who is sitting in the favored roll. The cavalier Brazilian can be acquired at a cost of -150. That leaves the high-mileage Sanchez in the underdog slot. Bettors can pick up the “Nightmare” for a value of about +140.

The over/under for this 15-minute affair has been assessed at 1.5 rounds. Gamblers can lay the price on the ‘Over’ for -137, or take the price on the ‘Under’ for +122. There should be an over/under prop for how many backflips Pereira attempts, because the man fights as if acrobatics is part of the judging criteria. The bet-setters definitely don’t think that these two will make it to the scorecards. The prop bet ‘Fight doesn’t go to decision’ is strongly favored with a moneyline of -195. Going back the other way, the ‘Fight goes to decision’ option is trekking around +160.

If this lightweight tilt is going to end early, then who will be the one to get it done? Well, according to the odds, ‘Pereira wins by TKO/KO’ is sporting a favored line of -118, and ‘Sanchez wins by TKO/KO’ comes with a massive moneyline of +787. As for submissions, the oddsmakers just can’t fathom such a thing. ‘Sanchez wins by submission’ owns an astronomical underdog tag of +1133, with the ‘Pereira wins by submission’ prop being an even larger dog at +1600.

Sanchez used to be known for his toughness, but the 38-year-old has seen a ton of action and just can’t take the same amount of punishment that he once did. Pereira possesses the sort of explosive venom that could easily put his opponent to sleep. Plus, Pereira loves to spam flying knees which can be absolutely devastating if they land.
