Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is gearing up for a championship main event more than five years in the making, courtesy of the UFC 249 pay-per-view (PPV) event on ESPN+, locked and loaded for Sat., April 18, 2020 inside Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York. That’s where Khabib Nurmagomedov will make his next lightweight title defense against former interim champion, Tony Ferguson.

And now they have an official poster.

But just in case Ferguson suffers another bizarre injury, or Nurmagomedov eats too much tiramisu, former UFC lightweight champion, Conor McGregor, will be on standby, ready to fill in on a moment’s notice.

In addition to the UFC 249 main event, former strawweight champions Jessica Andrade and Rose Namajunas will rematch for the right to stay alive in the 115-pound title race. Elsewhere on the card, Uriah Hall welcomes Ronaldo Souza back to the middleweight division, while Gian Villante makes his heavyweight debut against Ben Rothwell.
