Prior to the UFC 248 ceremonial weigh-ins next week (March 6) in Las Vegas, Nevada, Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) will host a special pre-fight press conference to promote its next big pay-per-view (PPV) event, UFC 249, which takes place inside Barclays Center in Brooklyn, N.Y. on April 18, 2020.
UFC 249 is set to be headlined by a highly-anticipated Lightweight title fight, as division king, Khabib Nurmagomedov, takes on streaking contender, Tony Ferguson. In the co-main event, former women’s Straweeight title holders, Rose Namajunas and Jessica Andrade, will collide in a rematch to see who will likely get the next shot at the strap which will be on the line at UFC 248.
That said, the presser will only include Nurmagomedov and Ferguson, as the two men will field questions from the media and face off, yet again, to promote the 155-pound title fight that has been booked four times before. The UFC 249 kickoff press conference will begin at 6 p.m. ET, and we will have a live video stream right here at MMAmania.com for your viewing pleasure.
