Jason Miller knows a thing or two about fighting, and he gives Joshua Fabia’s self-defense videos two thumbs down.

Jason Miller smells something funky with Joshua Fabia’s teachings.

The fighter known as “Mayhem” appeared on Adam Hunter’s MMA Roasted show to review some of Fabia’s self-defense practices. In the particular video examined, Fabia divulges how to fend off two attackers simultaneously — which includes Matrix like movements and pulling double-guard.

“I feel like this is a revolution in self-defense technology,” Miller said sarcastically (review starts at 1:46). “I can’t be quiet anymore. It’s f—king bizarre that in 2020, bullsh-tsu is still going strong. You just make up your own style. It’s Self Awareness technology? What do you call this s—t?

“If you’ve been paying attention to Diego Sanchez for any amount of time, you know he is a little bit out there,” Miller continued. “This guy [Fabia] kind of seems perfect. It falls into his wheelhouse. I’m surprised that it didn’t happen earlier. That he didn’t go to the School of Bullsh-tsu Awareness.”

When asked what Fabia did right in the video, Miller said the only thing Fabia has going for him is his tone of voice.

“Wrong? There is not much to say about being right. I mean, look. First of all, the fact that this dude — I think it’s his hypnotizing tone of voice that he gets these goons that he picked up from a 24-Hour Fitness bathroom,” the former fighter said of the students in the video.

Fabia, the one-man operation behind Sanchez’s fighting career, has been increasingly scrutinized following his one-man corner work in the co-main event of UFC Rio Rancho.
