Let’s get into another BE’s Baddest tournament. It’s time to pick the single greatest MMA fight to watch before the world ends. Nominate your all time favorite match!

If you knew that the world was about to end soon, but you had time to watch just one MMA fight, which one would you choose?

It’s time bring back the BE’s Baddest tournament series in order to find out what is the greatest MMA match of all time? You know, that one that gives you chills, or moves you emotionally. That classic back-and-forth war with momentum swings that kept you on the edge of your seat. That one match that you would show to someone who has never witnessed an MMA bout that would get them hooked. We’ve been blessed with ample examples of these types of collisions, but which one is the end-all-be-all #1 fight of all time? Let’s nominate our favorite fights, and see what comes out on top!

What is the all time greatest MMA fight to watch before the world ends?

This is how the nominations work:

You have a particular fight you want to nominate? In the comment section write “Nominate – Fighter vs. Fighter” So let’s say I wanted to nominate Conor McGregor vs. Max Holloway as the greatest MMA fight of all time, I would write:

Nominate – “McGregor vs. Holloway” or Nominate -“Conor vs. Max.” You get the idea.

From there, it’s all about the RECS. If someone has already nominated “McGregor vs. Holloway” and you want that match to move on to the field of 16, REC that person’s nomination. The top 16 fights advance to the tournament, and will be seeded accordingly.

One important note here – DON’T nominate the same person more than once. That just makes a big mess of things. So if I want to nominate McGregor vs. Holloway, I should first search the comments to make sure that bout hasn’t already been nominated. If it has, I REC it. If not, I nominate it.

Nominations for this tournament end this Thursday at 5:00 p.m. ET, so get them in now. We’ll have the tournament bracket filled out over the weekend, then voting on each head-to-head match-up begins next week.

And remember folks, rec, rec, rec. You don’t rec up your favorite fight and it doesn’t get in to the tournament, well then you have no one to blame but yourself. If you have any questions, ask them in the comment section. Otherwise, LET THE NOMINATIONS BEGIN!

Big thanks to longtime BE contributor Fraser Coffeen for paving the way with these brackets! Tournament graphics provided by June M. Williams.
