Bellator 225 “Mitrione vs. Kharitonov 2” took place August 24, 2019 at Webster Bank Arena in Bridgeport, Conn. The main event was a Heavyweight rematch in search of an explosive finish after the first bout between Matt Mitrione and Sergei Kharitonov ended in a no contest due to a groin kick Kharitonov couldn’t recover from.
Not only did that bout have a more definitive ending the second time around, every fight on the card was ended by knockout, TKO or submission — a historic 14 out of 14 unseen in modern times. Not a single fight went to the judges for a decision.
