Check out the betting odds for Tony Ferguson vs. Justin Gaethje for the interim lightweight belt in the UFC 249 main event.

It has just been announced that UFC 249 on April 18th will be headlined by Tony Ferguson and Justin Gaethje for the interim lightweight title. We might not yet have a location for this event, but we do have betting odds! Bloody Elbow is back to provide the lines.

The oddsmakers like them some Ferguson. The former interim champ has opened up with a -185 betting line. As for the heavy handed Gaethje, who is coming in on short notice, his initial offering can be acquired for an underdog value of +155.

With violent elbows, wicked chokes, his endless gas tank, and currently owning a 12-fight winning streak, it’s understandable to see why the bookies favor Ferguson the way they do. He’s battle tested and was about to fight Khabib Nurmagomedov for the undisputed title for a reason. As for Gaethje, he’s severely dangerous on the feet and has really strong anti-wrestling. His bonkers pace is tough to deal with, but it also has been seen to really tax his own cardio. These are two warriors who put on exciting fights and leave it all out there. It’ll be interesting to see what prop bets will surface for this matchup.
