Here is the intended fight card for the UFC’s planned May 9th event.
Even after the recent cancellation of UFC 249, the UFC continues to carry on with their planned events. Now, the company is pushing forward with a new May 9th schedule, which was originally UFC 250.
ESPN’s Brett Okamoto first released a tweet stating that the card will feature three title fights: Tony Ferguson vs. Justin Gaethje, Amanda Nunes vs. Felicia Spencer, and Henry Cejudo vs. Dominick Cruz. In a follow-up post, Okamoto released the other fights intended for the card, which includes a rematch between Donald Cerrone and Anthony Pettis.
Here is the *targeted* card for May 9. Very fluid. Some have verbally agreed, others are hesitant and want more details. Fighters want to fight but these are crazy circumstances, obviously. But … this is the card as of today, UFC is working on. pic.twitter.com/7s7OfwXOW9

Both Pettis and Cerrone are coming off losses, with their most recent ones happening in January at UFC 246. Pettis lost via second-round submission to Carlos Diego Ferreira in his return to lightweight, while Cerrone was stopped by Conor McGregor inside 46 seconds in the main event.
The two last fought in 2013, which “Showtime” won via first-round knockout.
Another new fight added to the possible card with see the return of former UFC heavyweight champion Fabricio Werdum, who could meet Aleksei Oleinik.
The venue for the May 9th event has yet to be determined.
