Jon Jones continues to tease of a heavyweight super fight with Francis Ngannou.

Jon Jones seems genuinely interested in a heavyweight matchup with Francis Ngannou, as ‘Bones’ recently referred to the bout as a ‘modern day David and Goliath’ on his Instagram page, doubling down on his calls for a ‘big money’ superfight with the Cameroonian knockout artist in his heavyweight debut.

“Modern day David and Goliath. Everybody in the UFC has punching power, very few men have ever hit me clean. I’m going to win this fight,” Jones posted on Friday.

Jones then got into another exchange with Ngannou on social media after ‘The Predator’ predicted an easy knockout win against the pound-for-pound No. 1.

“Bro with all that power comes a limited amount of time it’s effective. If you can’t get me out with in the first or second good luck keeping up with my pace/fight IQ. I’ll literally pick you apart,” Jones responded to Ngannou in the comments. “What’s your plan to defeat one of the most clever fighters in the sport? Oh easy I’m just going to swing at his head and knock him out said every opponent I’ve ever faced.”

Jones has long teased of a move to heavyweight but, for whatever reason, the 32-year-old has yet to make his divisional debut. The JacksonWink product has cleared out the light heavyweight division multiple times over and said there’s nothing left for him to prove at that weight class.

Ngannou, 33, is ranked #2 in the UFC heavyweight division and has finished his last four fights via first-round KO, building a reputation as one of the most feared punchers in the sport.
