Check out the betting odds for Saturday’s UFC on ESPN card, where returning heavyweight Walt Harris is favored over Alistair Overeem in the main event.

It’s time for our second UFC event this week as we are geared up another fight night from the VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena in Jacksonville, Florida. The featured matchup of the UFC on ESPN card will get a top-10 heavyweight encounter when the returning #9 ranked, Walt Harris, meets the #8 mainstay, Alistair Overeem. Before that, the card’s co-main event will get the company’s #6 ranked strawweight, Claudia Gadelha, in a scuffle with surging scrapper, yet currently unranked, Angela Hill. Bloody Elbow is front and center with the betting lines!

For the UFC on ESPN 8 main event, the oddsmakers are projecting the returning Walt Harris to get past the longtime veteran Alistair Overeem. Harris’ straight up moneyline can be found at a slightly favored cost of -135. As for the much more seasoned Overeem, his betting line is sitting at an underdog value of +125.

The over/under for this scheduled 25-minutes of heavyweight action has been set at 1.5 rounds. The ‘Over’ prop option owns a favored line of -147, with a +132 comeback on the ‘Under.’ Overeem has only seen one decision in almost five-years, and Harris has reached the scorecards just once in almost four-years. There’s no way the bet-setters were going to favor this one going the distance. The prop bet ‘Fight doesn’t go to decision’ is heavily favored with a moneyline of -435, with ‘Fight goes to decision’ sporting a fat ol’ dog tag of +325.

The oddsmakers believe that Harris is the fighter more likely to produce a finish here. The exotic prop ‘Harris wins inside distance’ can be scooped up for -110, with ‘Not Harris inside distance’ trending at -125. Going back the other way, ‘Overeem wins inside distance’ holds an underdog line of +170, with ‘Not Overeem inside distance’ comfortably favored at -215.

As for the UFC on ESPN co-main event, the oddsmakers are siding with former 115-pound title challenger Claudia Gadelha. Her associated moneyline is currently on the table for a strongly favored cost of -210. Her counterpart in Angela Hill is coming into the event as a +190 underdog.

The over/under for this scheduled 15-minute affair has been set at 2.5 rounds. The ‘Over’ prop is quite favored, registering with a sizable minus line of -350, with the ‘Under’ wager cemented in underdog territory around the +300 mark. According to the betting odds, these two strawweights are going to use up each of the their scheduled three rounds. Gamblers can lay the the price on the bet ‘Fight goes to decision’ for -325, or they can take the price on ‘Fight doesn’t go to decision’ for +250.
