In a close fight, Dan Ige edged out Edson Barboza via split decision at UFC on ESPN 8. On Twitter, pro fighters did not agree with the nod.
It was close and it was controversial, but Dan Ige did edge out veteran Edson Barboza in the Brazilian’s featherweight debut. After three action-packed rounds, it was Ige who emerged victorious at UFC on ESPN 8 in Jacksonville, Florida, but on Twitter, some pro fighters did not agree with the decision.
Let’s see how Barbosa adapts to 145, he has stiff competition against Dan Ige!

Saying “don’t let it go to the judges” is like telling a westler to pin all his opponents, basketball team to win by 20, or a baseball team to not give up any runs. I don’t agree with the decision, but that’s the risk we take with this sport. We also need MMA judges.
