Check out the second episode of Embedded for UFC 250.
UFC 250 is almost here, and as usual, Embedded is here as well. The show that gives you an inside look at the marquee contestants on PPVs has issued the second episode for this weekend’s “big” show in UFC Apex, and it serves as a brief introduction to the fighters at the top of the card.
Amanda Nunes, with a mask, does some stuff at the hotel. Nina Ansaroff says everything in Florida (where they live) is open again, so it’s jarring coming to Nevada where virtually nothing is yet. It’s different, but they’re cool with it. Ansaroff talks about her pregnancy a bit. She talks up Felicia Spencer a bit too. Nunes still has to cut weight, but 145 is obviously easier.
Spencer talks about seeing her face on a billboard for the first time. Her husband and her clown around a bit. They head out to the Red Rock Canyon.
Back at the PI, Cory Sandhagen gets into the 25-foot Octagon and says it’s different. Five feet is a lot, according to his coach. Neil Magny is there too doing some sparring. His coach talks about opponent Anthony Rocco Martin. Magny says Martin at 170 has been dangerous, so he’s prepared. Sandhagen says that his bout with Aljamain Sterling is a lot more interesting with a title shot at stake.
Sterling gets prepped to do some media. He thinks he could have a couple of beers with Sandhagen after the fight. He respects his opponent, but AlJo thinks he’s the best in the world and is about to become a world champion.
Over in Amanda Nunes’ room, she’s doing media too. She’s ready to make history once again. She thinks Spencer will try to do what every other opponent does – tire her out – but it’s not going to happen.
And that’s it! UFC 250 goes down Saturday night in Sin City.
