Check out the third episode of Embedded for UFC 250.
UFC 250 is almost here, and as usual, Embedded is here as well. The show that gives you an inside look at the marquee contestants on PPVs has issued the third episode for this weekend’s “big” show in UFC Apex, and it serves as a brief introduction to the fighters at the top of the card.
We start off at the fighter hotel with Felicia Spencer sitting outside and doing some media. She’s ready to go five rounds with Amanda Nunes. Nunes and Nina Ansaroff come out and Spencer greets them warmly. They bump elbows and she congratulates them on the impending baby. Classic Canadian politeness.
Cory Sandhagen plays some basketball with his coach. He says that he loses to his coach all the time in Connect Four and Call of Duty. He says he’s really only good at fighting and sometimes shooting hoops.
Cody Garbrandt and Chris Holdsworth are at a gun range. Garbrandt talks about growing up a hunter, and he hasn’t shot in a long time. Holdworth takes a huge kick from a gun, which makes everyone laugh.
Over at the Performance Institute, Sean O’Malley is working out and getting ready to cut weight. He is on a new strength and conditioning program. His coach says a lot of people turned down fights with O’Malley. Forrest Griffin makes a cameo. Alex Caceres talks to O’Malley about how great the PI is. A few people talk about COVID changing their lives, but O’Malley says that nothing changed for him at all.
Spencer does some sparring, and discusses her fighting career so far. Her training partner talks about her ground game and focus.
And that’s it! UFC 250 goes down Saturday night in Vegas.
