The MMA Depressed-us Chorus | June M. Williams
Zane Simon, Connor Ruebusch, & Phil Mackenzie are back to watch the best of the worst fights they can find. Focusing on the UFC, PRIDE, the WEC, and Strikeforce.
A brief respite in the UFC’s jam packed summer event schedule. What would normally have marked ‘International Fight Week’ has been abandoned as the UFC gears up for their month in Abu Dhabi. As always, any time out of watching UFC events live must be spent watching notably bad MMA.
This time around, we’re kicking things off with a recent light heavyweight scrap between Sam Alvey and Ryan Spann, jumping over to yet another classic stinker from UFC 112 in Abu Dhabi and Matt Hughes’ bout against Renzo Gracie, and then polishing the whole thing off with the first meeting of past and future UFC champions Tito Ortiz and Rashad Evans.
As always, we’re watching each fight on Fight Pass. And you can follow along at home by starting each video from the beginning when Zane says “go.” If you’re watching the videos somewhere other than fight pass, Connor will try and get you all synched up for the start of round 1.
