A main-card bout between Thiago Santos and Derrick Lewis now has higher stakes at this weekend’s season-ending Bellator 45 event.

Officials today announced the previously reported bout will serve as a qualifier for the organization’s season-five heavyweight tournament.

Bellator 45 takes place at L’Auberge du Lac Casino Resort in Lake Charles, La.
