Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) welterweight contender Jorge Masvidal, currently ranked No. 4 at 170 pounds, will return to action later tonight (Weds., Aug. 5, 2020) on ESPN 2 at 8 p.m. ET for a special cornhole showdown opposite Cody Henderson at the 2020 ACL World Championships.

That’s the game where you try to throw a bag of corn through a hole in a plank of wood, though most competitions use beanbags or some other corn substitute. Growing up in the sticks, at least in my neck of the woods, the game was called “dad hole” which in retrospect is really fucking weird.

Anyway, Masvidal and Henderson came face-to-face at the official cornhole staredowns earlier today and some friendly trash talk quickly escalated to shoving and ultimately, thrown punches. Fortunately for Henderson, they all came from Masvidal’s son.

That looked like a TKO to me.

Sources tell me that scouts from Akhmat Fight Club are already drawing up contracts.
