Conor McGregor puts Khabib on blast over his recent comments about Justin Gaethje.
Khabib Nurmagomedov has promised to take Justin Gaethje into deep waters and drown him at UFC 254, but Conor McGregor is not impressed.
McGregor responded to Nurmagomedov’s comments in a now-deleted Tweet, where he accused the undefeated UFC lightweight champion of using cowardly tactics to get the upper hand over his opponents.

“In other words – I’m going to be running around the outside of the cage, s******g my pants. And within the first ten seconds of the fight, I’m diving at his legs for a good whiff of his jockstrap,” McGregor said of Nurmagomedov’s gameplan for Gaethje,
Nurmagomedov is arguably the best current pound-for-pound wrestler in MMA, as McGregor is all too familiar with. ‘The Eagle’ dominated ‘The Notorious’ enroute to a fourth-round submission win (neck crank) at UFC 229 to retain his lightweight title. Since then, Khabib has gone on to submit Dustin Poirier and cement himself as one of the most dominant champions of all-time. McGregor bounced back from his loss to Nurmagomedov with a sensational 40-second TKO victory over Donald Cerrone only to retire in the following months.
UFC 254: Khabib vs. Gaethje is scheduled to take place on October 24 at a TBD location.
