Check out the secon episode of Embedded for UFC 252.

UFC 252 is almost here, and as usual, Embedded is here as well. The show that gives you an inside look at the marquee contestants on PPVs has issued the second episode for this weekend’s big show in UFC Apex, and it serves as a brief introduction to the fighters at the top of the card.

We start off with Sean O’Malley getting his hair done by his wife. He says that his wife does a ton of things for him – massage therapist, nutritionist, etc. He is getting his hair done in the style of the Ecuadorian flag. It looks pretty crazy.

Over in Oakland, Daniel Cormier is ready to head out with his team. He’s not bringing his family this time though, obviously due to the pandemic. They’ll be eagerly watching from home though.

In Cleveland, Stipe Miocic jokes with his family to get out of the pool he pays for. He says he’s been training at home for the last 10 weeks and it has been great because he gets to hang with his daughter. He respects Cormier, but says it’s unfortunate for DC that his last fight is against him.

We’re now in Vegas. Cormier talks about how different it is to fight in Vegas this time compared to before. He reminisces about his fights at Mandalay and MGM and says T-Mobile is great, but he misses that atmosphere.

Back in Phoenix at Sean O’Malley’s house. He reads out loud from a book about artists. He hangs with his wife and dog. He goes through what he always packs for fight trips. He doesn’t need to dress up for virtual media day. He says he’s lucky to be able to fight.

Back to Vegas with DC. He’s at Xtreme Couture to get some training in. He mirrors what Miocic said about him, saying he respects his opponent but he thinks he’s better. And he’s going to become the heavyweight champ for the second time.

And that’s it! UFC 252 goes down this Saturday night in Vegas.
