Check out the fifth episode of Embedded for UFC 252.
UFC 252 is almost here, and as usual, Embedded is here as well. The show that gives you an inside look at the marquee contestants on PPVs has issued the fifth episode for this weekend’s big show in UFC Apex, and it serves as a brief introduction to the fighters at the top of the card.
We start off at Frost Fit with Daniel Cormier. DC is sitting on some sort of odd massage chair, which cracks up his team. He’s now in a cocoon, another weird massage thing. He FaceTimes into UFC Unfiltered with Matt Serra.
Junior dos Santos then does some media, and puts himself up there as one of the best heavyweights ever. Jairzinho Rozenstruik has respect for JDS, but he is looking at moving forward and he has to take him out.
Stipe Miocic sees JDS and says he looks great. Marlon Vera talks about his busy schedule, and he likes it because he’s done that his entire career. He likes the small Octagon too. Sean O’Malley wanted to go 3-0 in 2020, and this will get him there. Suga thinks that Vera is good at getting hit in the head and fighting like a Diaz. But O’Malley says he’ll find his chin and put him out.
DC opens a UPS parcel and there’s an AKA medallion inside. He goes to hug Bob Cook, who doesn’t trust him. He makes DC hold his arms high so he can’t get underhooks.
Jason Parillo guides Vera through a light workout. Vera is happy that O’Malley called him out, and he’s ready to go. Two more days to the fight (this was filmed yesterday). O’Malley does a light workout as well. He doesn’t like to get hit, so he’s not going to. O’Malley’s coach says he saw Parillo hyping up Vera, and if he’s going to come strike with O’Malley, that’s a bad idea.
And that’s it! UFC 252 goes down tomorrow night in Vegas.
