Maurice Greene meets Greg Hardy at a UFC event on Halloween later this year.
A heavyweight fight between former NFL player Greg Hardy and Maurice Greene has been added to a UFC event on October 31st.
MMA Junkie first reported the news, though the UFC is yet to officially announce the fight. No venue or location has yet been announced for the event which will take place on Halloween.
Greene (9-4) has fought five times since debuting for the UFC in November 2018. After consecutive stoppage losses to Sergei Pavlovich and Aleksei Oleinik, Greene rebounded with a submission win against Gian Villante in June.
Hardy (6-2, 1NC) was signed to the UFC in January last year and went on to fight five times in 2019 for the promotion. After a DQ loss in his debut, Hardy picked up consecutive stoppage wins and then had a win overturned for the illegal use of an inhaler between rounds. Hardy won a decision against Yorgan De Castro at UFC 249 in May.
The only other fight currently announced for the card is a light heavyweight fight between Justin Ledet and Dustin Jacoby.
