Brian Ortega vs The Korean Zombie has been re-booked after their fight in December 2019 fell through.

The highly-anticipated featherweight fight between Brian Ortega and Chan Sung Jung has been rebooked to headline a UFC Fight Night on October 17.

Milenio first reported the news. Ortega and Jung were supposed to headline a Fight Night in South Korea last December, but Ortega pulled out of the fight with a knee injury.

Ortega (14-1, 1NC) suffered the first loss of his MMA career in his last fight against Max Holloway in December 2018. “T-City” had been on an impressive run of form before the loss that led to him getting a shot at the UFC featherweight title, picking up stoppage wins against former champion Frankie Edgar and Cub Swanson.

Jung (16-5) has only lost once in the UFC since returning after a four-year absence in 2017. Zombie was on the receiving end of the latest stoppage in UFC history when Yair Rodriguez finished him with one second left in the fifth round of their fight in 2018. Since then, Jung has picked up consecutive finishes against Renato Moicano and Edgar.

No location or venue has been announced for the card Ortega and Jung will headline on October 17.
