Former UFC lightweight champion Conor McGregor can expect a Brazilian surprise if he dares to return at Bellator Dublin 3. And if you don’t know what that means, don’t go to Urban Dictionary (you have been warned). Instead, ask lightweight contender Patricky Freire.

“Pitbull” is scheduled to fight fellow lightweight Peter Queally at the upcoming Bellator event on Oct. 3 in Dublin and there’s a pretty good chance McGregor will be there in support of “The Showstopper,” who trains alongside “Notorious” at SBG Ireland.

“I know Conor will be sitting in the front row, just like he was last time,” Freire told Bloody Elbow. “That does motivate me more. When I win this fight, I’ll have a surprise for him. There’s been some beef between me and Peter since the staredown in New York. Things got a little wild in the press conference. In fact, I was the one who started it. I attacked the SBG guys. This card that will happen in October will be Pitbull Brothers vs. SBG. One of those SBG guys, James Gallagher, he talks too much.”

McGregor was cageside for the Bellator 187 event back in late 2017 and decided the best way to celebrate fellow Irishman Charlie Ward’s win over John Redmond was to jump the fence and go berserk, jeopardizing everyone in attendance (according to this guy).

No word yet on whether or not McGregor will actually make an appearance on fight night but I’m not sure the “Notorious” bruiser has anything better to do now that he’s officially retired from combat sports. I guess we’ll find out when Bellator returns to Dublin.
