UFC on ESPN 15 injuries and medical suspensions were submitted to MixedMartialArts.com earlier this week for those athletes competing at the “Munhoz vs. Edgar” event this past weekend (Sat., Aug. 22, 2020) from inside UFC APEX in Las Vegas.
Not surprisingly, a fair share of combatants were handed lengthy timeouts, including bantamweight headliners Pedro Munhoz and Frankie Edgar. Both “The Young Punisher” and “The Answer” suffered multiple facial lacerations.
Complete UFC on ESPN 15 medical suspensions (via MMA Junkie) below.
Pedro Munhoz: Suspended 60 days with no contact for 45 days due to left eyebrow and nasal lacerations.

Just a quick reminder: Fighters often return to action much quicker once doctors give them the green light. The lengthy suspensions are just a precaution in most cases. In addition, not all injuries are recorded during the post-fight examination and often times surface in follow-up tests.
