With Jon Jones already preparing a heavyweight move, Dana White has weighed in on the idea of “Bones” vs. Brock Lesnar.

With news recently breaking that Brock Lesnar has “paused” negotiations with the WWE, and is potentially a free agent, talks of his return to the UFC are heating up.

Lesnar was in the middle of negotiating a new deal with the WWE, but talks broke down and the former UFC heavyweight champion is apparently available on the open market. Although Lesnar may be far from finished with the WWE, the break in his contract makes it easier for him to entertain other opportunities, such as another MMA fight.

This news has caught the attention of UFC president Dana White, who told TMZ Sports that if Lesnar is serious about returning to the UFC to fight Jon Jones that he would be more than willing to make the fight happen.

Jones (26-1, 1 NC) recently vacated his UFC light heavyweight title as he prepares for a move up to heavyweight to fight current champion Stipe Miocic. “Bones” called out Lesnar after his rematch with Daniel Cormier in 2017, and just yesterday called him out again on social media.

On the other hand, the 43-year-old Lesnar (5-3, 1NC) made a return to the UFC after a five-year hiatus in 2016 when he defeated Mark Hunt by decision at UFC 200. The win was later changed to a no contest when Lesnar tested positive for a banned substance, for which he was handed a one-year USADA suspension and a $250,000 fine.
