Take a look at the current card for the UFC’s September 19th event in Vegas.
The UFC will return to their Apex facility on September 19th for one of their deeper non-PPV cards in a long time. The lack of quality on events lately (largely due to COVID and injuries) has been a bit frustrating, but this event is legitimately stacked for a Fight Night. There are already 15 fights attached to the card, probably because the promotion knows a couple will fall off. Still though, this is going to be good.
The main event is a grudge match that has been building for years, and it’s taken forever to get both men to sign on the dotted line at the same time. But it’s finally done – former UFC welterweight champion Tyron Woodley will step into the cage with chatty Colby Covington.
The rest of the bout order isn’t set yet, but there’s a lot to like here. Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone will return to the cage looking for a win against action fighter Niko Price. Uber-prospect Khamzat Chimaev will make his third UFC appearance against Gerald Meerchaert. In addition, undefeated heavyweight Ciryl Gane will meet his toughest test to date in Shamil Abrurakhimov.
