Check out which fighters won performance bonuses from UFC Fight Night: Waterson vs. Hill

The UFC APEX Center in Las Vegas, Nevada was home to a great night of fights at The UFC APEX Center in Las Vegas, Nevada was home to a great night of fights at UFC Vegas 10: Waterson vs. Hill. The card saw one (T)KO, five submissions and five decisions, including one split-decision..

The prelims opened with Sabina Mazo scoring a third-round rear-naked choke over Justine Kish to kick off the action. That was followed up with Bryan Bareberena getting a comfortable unanimous decision over Anthony Ivy. Jalin Turner submitted Brok Weaver in round two and Alexander Romanov made a big splash in his debut by submitting Roque Martinez via arm-triangle in round one. Kevin Croom needed just 31 seconds to snare the 26th president in a standing guillotine and Sijara Eubanks dominated Julia Aviala after a hard and heavy first round of action to win a unanimous decision.

The main card opened with Bobby Quarantillo destroying Kyle Nelson via KO in the first 10 seconds of round three, followed by Bobby Green put on a masterful performance over Alan Patrick to get the unanimous decision victory—his third in a row now. Ed Herman survived a pretty dicey first round and a phantom nut shot in round two that should’ve been a TKO since it was clearly not a low blow, then took a solid beating in round three before locking a kimura on Mike Rodriguez, forcing the tap in the last minute of the fight. Roxanne Modafferi played spoiler once again against Andrea Lee where she scored a unanimous decision. This marks Lee’s third loss in a row. Ottman Azaitar only neede 93-seconds to score a TKO over Khama Worthy, who argued the stoppage, but methinks he doth complain too much, because the referee was correct in his judgement.

The main event was a ferocious back-and-forth battle that saw Hill take the first two rounds, Waterson take the third and fourth, and the fifth being a close one that might have gone either way. The judges were just as torn, scoring it a split-decision for Waterson.

*Note: Mike Rodriguez’ manager plans to appeal his loss. Story courtesy of MMA Fighting. Dana White said in the post-fight scrum that Rodriguez would receive his win bonus too.
