Although scheduled for five rounds, this past Saturday’s Bellator 45
headliner between Christian M’Pumbu and Richard Hale lasted fewer than
three.

The bout served as the finale of Bellator’s season-four
light-heavyweight tournament, and a victory also earned the winner the
organization’s first title in that division.

The night belonged to M’Pumbu.
