Tonight (September 17th) is Invicta FC 42 from Kansas City, Kansas. The main event features Ashley “Smashley” Cummins against Alesha “Half Pint” Zappitella for the vacant atomweight title. In the co-main, Raquel Canuto (nee Pa’aluhi) will face Lisa Verzosa in a bantamweight matchup. Unfortunately, two fights were scrapped from this event due to positive COVID-19 results, but luckily for Jennifer Chieng her night has been salvaged by agreeing to a 120 lbs catchweight against Helen Peralta.
