Check out the betting odds for a potential super-fight between the UFC’s middleweight champ Israel Adesanya and light heavyweight G.O.A.T. Jon Jones.
The UFC’s middleweight champion, Israel Adesanya, just successfully defended his belt by dominating Paulo Costa and stopping him with strikes in the second round of the UFC 253 main event. MMA’s light heavyweight G.O.A.T. Jon Jones has recently vacated his 205-pound title to chase fresh faces at heavyweight. With that being said, a feud between the two icons has been going on for some time, and their rivalry seems to be alive and well. Online gambling site SportsBetting.ag just released betting odds for a potential super-fight between the two superstars, and the line is a lot closer than one would think.
The oddsmakers are siding with Jones, but not by very much. The several-time light heavyweight king opened up with a favored moneyline of -150. That leaves Adesanya as a slight underdog, and he can be scooped up at an offering of +130. It appears pretty clear that Izzy is looking to run shop on his 185-pound division, and “Bones” is looking to move up to heavyweight. Logic dictates that a fight between these two is quite unlikely in the immediate future, however, gamblers have until September 21, 2021 for this match to happen and their action on these lines to remain valid.
