Tony Ferguson wasn’t too happy about Dustin Poirier’s decision to agree to a rematch with Conor McGregor.

Tony Ferguson isn’t a happy man these days. During a recent interview with Ariel Helwani, he expressed disappointment about the UFC’s plan to have recent signee Michael Chandler as a back-up fighter for either Khabib Nurmagomedov and Justin Gaethje at UFC 254.

“El Cucuy’s” aggravations are only continuing to pile up. This time, his gripes are about the recent agreement between Dustin Poirier and Conor McGregor to fight each other in a rematch.

The former interim champion expressed his sentiments with some choice words directed at both men, written in trademark Tony Ferguson style.

McGregor claimed he accepted the UFC’s offer fight Poirier in a rematch. His stipulation, however, is that it should happen before the year ends, preferring the December 12 or 19 shows. He also promised a $500K donation to Poirier’s The Good Fight Foundation.

Ferguson was scheduled to co-headline UFC 254 against Poirier. “The Diamond” ended up pulling out after supposedly failing to come to terms with the UFC.
