Dana White points fingers at Conor McGregor for causing the collapse of the supposed TUF season with Khabib Nurmagomedov.

Late last month, manager Ali Abdelaziz revealed a supposed Ultimate Fighter season featuring his client Khabib Nurmagomedov and Conor McGregor as coaches. Abdelaziz didn’t give any specific details, other than Khabib eventually turning it down.

I talked with Khabib yesterday. He said, ‘This man is human trash. He’s like garbage. When you touch sh-t, you smell sh-t.’ He said, ‘He doesn’t earn the fight. You understand? He doesn’t earn the fight.’

UFC president Dana White later spoke to Robbie Fox of Barstool Sports to confirm Abdelaziz’s claim. White also said that McGregor’s recent actions, from the leaked DMs to declaring a boxing match with Manny Pacquiao and then a “charity” rematch with Dustin Poirier, led to the collapse of said plans.

“(Khabib) was gonna do it until Conor did all this sh-t,” White said. “That’s what I was saying. I felt like I was in a good place and I was gonna get that done. So we were gonna do the Ultimate Fighter on ESPN and f—ng do the rematch. But Conor blew that.

“Khabib said, ‘F—k him. That was it.”

McGregor is adamant about the Poirier rematch taking place within the year. The UFC has yet to make it all official.
