Many Bothans cried to bring us this information.

Former Strikeforce headliner Gina Carano, who retired from mixed martial arts (MMA) back in 2010 to pursue a career in Hollywood, is getting torched by unhappy Star Wars fans for her recent activity on social media.

As of Sunday night, #FireGinaCarano was trending on Twitter.

Carano, 38, currently plays Cara Dune on the Disney+ series “The Mandalorian” and has come under fire for her tweets on the presidential election, COVID-19, the LGBT community, and a couple of other hot-button topics.

Here’s a sample:

Carano announced on her Twitter account that she recently joined Parler, a relatively new social media app that allows users to communicate “free of agenda-driven shadow-banning” though some media outlets claim it’s a safe haven for extremists spreading misinformation.

“The more lying, cheating, demoralizing and hate I see, the clearer it is for me to feel the power of HOPE, TRUTH, RESPECT & LOVE,” Carano said. “Let your spirit be filled with strength and peace. Breathe.”

Episode four of The Mandalorian drops this Thursday on Disney+.
