Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is inching closer to its UFC 255: “Figueiredo vs. Perez” pay-per-view (PPV) event, which takes place this Sat. night (Nov. 21, 2020) inside APEX in Las Vegas, Nevada. On today’s edition of UFC 255: “Embedded,” which provides an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at select mixed martial arts (MMA) fighters preparing for this weekend’s big shebang, flyweight champion Deiveson Figueiredo begins his weight cut.
There haven’t been many storylines ahead of UFC 255, which also features a women’s flyweight title fight between Valentina Shevchenko and Jennifer Maia, but Figueiredo will definitely be under the microscope after botching his championship weight earlier this year, as title fights do not afford the usual one-pound allowance.
