UFC president Dana White a finalist in 2010 “Time 100” list of influential people

Dana White, the head of the world’s biggest and most influential mixed-martial-arts promotion in the sport’s history, is one of 200 finalists for the 2010 edition of the “Time 100.”

The magazine’s annual poll names the 100 most influential people in the world, though the results are often geared toward the U.S., and voting is now underway.

The list of finalists includes leaders, artists, innovators and icons ranging from U.S. President Barack Obama to television personality Oprah Winfrey to recording artist Lady Gaga.
