Usually there are a lot of rankings changes coming out of a PPV. This wasn’t a regular PPV I guess.

UFC 255 was entertaining at times. It had two title fights, and should have probably been a draw. But it wasn’t. It did terrible traffic for this very website, and outside of the title fights and Cynthia Calvillo vs. Katlyn Chookagian, it severely lacked the relevance necessary to charge big money for a card.

That is reflected in the rankings, which saw much less movement than usual coming off a PPV. Here’s a look at the few changes.

Men’s P4P – Figueiredo climbed three spots to 11. Conor McGregor (lol), Robert Whittaker, and Tony Ferguson all fell a spot each to 12 through 14.

Heavyweight – Ciryl Gane dropped from a tie for 13 to take over 14 on his own.

Light Heavyweight – Volkan Oezdemir moves up into a tie for six with Anthony Smith. Paul Craig is up one to 14. OSP re-enters at 14. Shogun is out.

Middleweight – No changes.

Welterweight – No changes.

Lightweight – No changes.

Featherweight – No changes.

Bantamweight – No changes.

Flyweight – Joseph Benavidez drops from a tie for number one contender with Brandon Moreno, to take over two on his own after Moreno’s win over Brandon Royval.

Women’s P4P – Valentina Shevchenko is back up to the two spot after her big (albeit weird) win over Jennifer Maia. Strawweight champ Weili Zhang drops to three. Chookagian is up two spots to ten. Calvillo drops two spots to 12.

Women’s Bantamweight – No changes.

Women’s Flyweight – Lauren Murphy is up two spots to three, trading with Jennifer Maia who is down to five. That’s puzzling, Maia put up a pretty good fight against the champ. Maycee Barber cracks the top 10, dropping Andrea Lee to 11. Antonina Shevchenko’s impressive UFC 255 win moves her up one spot to 14, dropping Montana De La Rosa to 15.

Women’s Strawweight – No changes.
