Mike Tyson and Roy Jones Jr., two of the biggest names in the history of boxing, will share the ring for an eight-round exhibition bout tomorrow night (Sat., Nov. 28, 2020) inside Staples Center in Los Angeles, Calif., streaming exclusively on FITE pay-per-view (PPV).
Both pugilists came face-to-face at the conclusions of today’s weigh ins (results and video here) where plexiglass separated Tyson and Jones Jr. to keep the coronavirus germs at bay. Sadly, that also robbed us of any potential pushing and shoving.
The official weights were 220.4 for Tyson and 210 for Jones.
Elsewhere on the Tyson-Jones fight card, YouTube cruiserweight Jake Paul battles retired NBA star Nate Robinson, for some reason. In addition, Badou Jack returns to throw hands against heavyweight bruiser Blake McKernan. Paul tipped the scale at 189 against 181 for Robinson.
Nothing left to do now except fight.
