The UFC’s first Tibetan fighter scored a walk-off KO at UFC Vegas 15.
‘The Tibetan Eagle’ Sumudaerji got his first finish in the UFC just now, on the prelims of UFC Vegas 15.
Sumudaerji took just 44 seconds to dispatch of Malcolm Gordon, who was making his second appearance in the promotion. From the opening bell the Chinese fighter tagged the Canadian with a straight left that snapped Gordon’s head back. He followed that up with a clubbing shot that landed over Gordon’s ear.
Seconds later Sumudaerji was teeing off on Gordon, until Gordon couldn’t take it anymore. He slumped and fell flat on the ground. The referee called the action off and Sumudaerji earned one of the fastest KO finishes in flyweight history.

Sumudaerji moves to 13-4 on his record and 2-1 in the UFC. The 24-year-old took time to shout out his mentor En Bo.
Loyal Bloody Elbow readers might remember En Bo and his EnBo Fight Club. That’s establishment that made headlines for ‘adopting’ hundreds of young boys and training them to be MMA fighters. After the club gained a lot of international exposure, the Chinese government tracked down and ordered that the boys be returned to their families and enrolled back in school.
