Holy shit … we made it.
Well, almost. I know a ton of crap can go wrong between now and Dec. 31 but in the spirit of Christmas I’m trying to spread some good cheer (and a little optimism). 2020 sucked for a lot of people both in and out of combat sports so let’s hope 2021 marks a fresh step for all of us.
Speaking of kitty litter, all those Grinchy McScroogebags who don’t celebrate Christmas are still welcome to participate in our holiday open thread and discussion. Just remember to keep it PG-13 and lay off the personal attacks, unless they’re directed at me then by all means, fire away.
I’ll get us started.
One of my favorite Christmas traditions is to prepare a standing rib roast, but I decided to switch things up this year and do bacon-wrapped filets with fresh-caught sea scallops. Everything is locally sourced and the bacon is nitrate-free, so I’m paying a pretty penny but fuck it, it’s the holidays!
It’s like a Christmas present to myself.
One gift I already unwrapped is the love and support trauma bond from long-time MMAmania.com readers who’ve kept us up and running since our first holiday post back in 2006. Without you, there would be no scallops so Merry Christmas dear friends, and soon-to-be Happy New Year.
Mania Bless.
