With the official weigh ins complete, Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) will ask former featherweight champion Max Holloway to collide with 145-pound bruiser Calvin Kattar in the UFC Fight Island 7 five-round main event tomorrow night (Sat., Jan. 16, 2021) on ESPN+ and ABC from inside Etihad Arena on Fight Island in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

Both fighters came face-to-face at the conclusion of the UFC Fight Island 7 weigh ins earlier this morning, which you can check out in the embedded video above. If you’re looking for all the scale-tipping numbers (and video) click here.

This will be the first non-title fight for Holloway (21-6) since capturing the featherweight strap against Jose Aldo back in summer 2017. The Hawaiian is looking to rebound from back-to-back decision losses to newly-crowned division kingpin Alexander Volkanovski.

As for Kattar (22-4), sitting just outside the Top 5 at No. 6, he’s looking to extend his winning streak to three after taking consecutive victories over Jeremy Stephens and Dan Ige. The 32 year-old “Boston Finisher” has now won four of his last five.
