Jon Jones is looking massive nowadays.

Jon Jones has been hard at work preparing to move up to heavyweight for the first time in his career, at it appears that the effort is paying off. Jones is no stranger to bragging on social media about…well, pretty much anything. But his latest posts show that he has gained a lot of size in the last few months, and is now tipping the scales at a heavyweight-ready 250 pounds.

Of course, fans had questions about this new gigantic Jones. For instance, when guys gain a lot of size it can adversely affect their gas tank in the cage. When asked about this, Jones said that being outworked is not an option:

It remains to be seen if his “heart” can guide him to gold in two divisions, but the former light heavyweight champion is already bigger than the current heavyweight champion Stipe Miocic, who was only 230 pounds for his last fight with Daniel Cormier. He was 242 for their first fight, so it could be a little closer. But Jones looks like a formidable challenge at that weight.

It’s unclear if Jones will get a shot at Miocic straight away, especially with Francis Ngannou in line for a shot now. But no matter what, it’s going to be interesting to see how JBJ’s heavyweight career plays out.
