Before Paige VanZant makes her bare knuckle debut tonight, against Britain Hart in the main event of Knucklemania 1, check out this video series that BKFC put together tracking the former UFC star’s journey.
Also included in this three part series is the story of VanZant’s opponent. The Road to Knucklemania showcases what Hart has been through to get to this moment. It includes the ups and downs she’s had in her boxing and bare knuckle career, culminating in her win against Randine Elkholm at BKFC 14 last November.
Knucklemania is live on Friday night, with the main card starting at 9:00pm. The entire event is available on Fite.TV.
In addition to Paige VanZant making her BKFC debut there will also be a BKFC lightweight championship fight between Johnny Bedford and Dat Nguyen. Bedford once appeared on The Ultimate Fighter and had a handful of UFC appearances before being released from the promotion. Since dropping the gloves Bedford has found a lot of success with BKFC.
Also appearing at Knucklmania is Chris Leben. The TUF 1 veteran remains an all-time fan favourite with UFC watchers. Leben has a few BKFC appearances under his belt. On Friday night he faces Quinton Henry in a light heavyweight duel.
