Alistair Overeem and Alexander Volkov will collide for a spot in the 265-pound title chase when they hook ‘em up in the UFC Vegas 18 heavyweight main event, scheduled for five, five-minute rounds tomorrow night (Sat., Feb. 6, 2021) inside UFC APEX in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Both heavyweight headliners hit the 265-pound mark without incident earlier today in “Sin City” as part of the UFC Vegas 18 weigh-in event (get full results and video here) and keeping with tradition, came nose-to-nose at the conclusion of the scale-tipping festivities.
Watch them face off in the video above. Below is the co-main event face off between Cory Sandhagen and Frankie Edgar, two veteran bantamweights with their eyes on the 135-pound prize.

Overeem (47-18, 1 NC), who turns 41 in May, insists he’s retiring after “one last run” at the heavyweight title, which translates into “one more loss” because that’s all it takes to send the hot-and-cold “Demolition Man” to the back of the line.
Bookies have Overeem pegged as the betting underdog.
As for Volkov (32-8), his goal is to snap the Dutchman’s two-fight winning streak and replace him in the Top 5 of the division. “Drago” was last seen beating the brakes off Walt Harris at the UFC 254 pay-per-view (PPV) event last October in Abu Dhabi.
Nothing left to do now except fight.
