T.J. Dillashaw is looking fresh in sparring ahead of his long awaited return to the octagon.
There’s no word on when, or who exactly, T.J. Dillashaw will face in his return to the octagon, but the former UFC bantamweight champion is certainly taking training seriously ahead of his comeback.
Dillashaw was suspended for two years in 2019 after testing positive test for recombinant human erythropoietin (EPO), but the 35-year-old is expected to make a comeback later this year. His suspension by the United States Anti-Doping Agency (USADA) expired on January 19.
Dillashaw hasn’t fought since his devastating knockout loss to Henry Cejudo at UFC Fight Night 143, but the Ludwig Martial Arts protege recently posted some sparring footage in which he floored former UFC flyweight contender Jose Torres with a leg kick before following up with a perfectly timed straight right hand.
The video has already accumulated over 540,000 views despite being uploaded just 6 days ago.
Dillashaw hasn’t unveiled any details on his next opponent, but the former two-time champ would like to fight for the title in his return bout. Current bantamweight champion Petr Yan is expected to defend his title against Aljamain Sterling at UFC 259 on March 6.
