265 lbs.: Jairzinho Rozenstruik vs. Ciryl Gane
Round 1: Rozenstruik whiffs on a looping right and Gane came back with a leg attack. A stiff right hand lands for Gane. Rozenstruik tries to counter and comes up empty again. Both men taking their time. Gane misses on a right hand. Leg kick lands for Gane. Rozenstruik yet to mix it up. Two minutes down.
Gane lands a quick punch to the body. Rozenstruik unloads on a combo but Gane evades and circles out. Gane lands another kick but it hits Rozenstruik low. The fight continues. More leg strikes by Gane. Rozenstruik lands come good punches inside but Gane escape to land his own right hand. Gane pushes Rozenstruik up against the cage. One minute remaining. Gane controls but isn’t landing much before securing a takedown along the cage to close out the round. 10-9 Gane.
Round 2: Gane lands a leg kick to start the round. Rozenstruik has yet to throw a strike. Front kick to the body by Gane lands flush. Another leg kick lands for Gane as Rozenstruik keeps waiting to counter. Rozenstruik returns his own leg kick. Gane comes back to land a low kick that seemed to bother Rozenstruik. Two minutes down.
Powerful inside leg kick lands by Gane. Rozenstruik finally pushes forward and lands a kick on the go. Gane staying busy to the lead leg. He follows it up with a stiff jab before tying Rozenstruik up against the cage again. Short knees inside by Gane. He scores a brief takedown but Rozenstruik defends. Gane nearly locks in a standing rear-naked choke but Rozenstruik powers out. Front kick to the body lands by Gane. Rozenstruik catches a Gane kick but didn’t unload a counter shot. 10-9 Gane.
Round 3: Gane opens up with a front kick, then a shot upstairs. Low kick from Gane, then a left his kick that Rozenstruik blocked. Rozenstruik feints and looks like he wants to be proactive, but he settles for a glove touch after a borderline front kick to the cup. Big overhand right from Gane, then a looping counter from Rozenstruik, who finally looks alive … briefly. Gane content to switch stances, pump the jab and throw threatening leg kicks. Referee Herb Dean encourages them to get busy … but neither man really listened. Gane continued to pump the jab, touching the leg kicks and Rozenstruik is still waiting for that Hail Mary shot. Rozenstruik put together a quick combination, but Gane just backed up and avoided the danger. 10-9 Gane.
Round 4: Between rounds, Gane corner team asking about his hand and whether or not it hurts. Then, before the round started, Dean gave Gane a “hard warning” about keeping his fingers curled to avoid a potential eye poke. Gane opened up with a stiff jab, then continued to do some light work down stairs on the legs just to look busy. Gane with a semi-flying knee to the chest of Rozenstruik, who still refuses to pull the trigger. Gane back Rozenstruik to the fence with a jab and he still refuses to let loose. Nice right hand from Gane, while Rozenstruik is still befuddled on his back foot. Action stops after a big knee to the midsection of Rozenstruik that was actually legal upon further review. Gane just pinned Rozenstruik up against the cage toward the tail end of the round and pumped his face full of jabs until the bell blared to close it out.
Round 5: At this point, all Gane needs to do is pull guard and not get knocked out to win the fight — it’s been that lopsided. Nevertheless, Gane continued to push the pace with his jab, backing Rozenstruik up against the cage once again. He finally closed the distance and tied up Rozenstruik along the cage to avoid the come-from-behind, one-hit quitter. Rozenstruik worked his way out, but once again, was completely on the counter defensive — no urgency whatsoever. Gane pumped the jab and Rozenstruik countered with a sneaky right, but was then pressed right back into the fence. Gane kept him there for as long as he could despite the desperate pleas from Rozenstruik’s corner. He tried to circle off the fence, but Gane got behind him and continued to just ride out a smart decision win against one of the most dangerous punchers in the division.
Final result: Gane defeats Rozenstruik via unanimous decision.
205 lbs.: Magomed Ankalaev vs. Nikita Krylov
Round 1: Both men looking to kick early. Good right hands from both and Krylov ties up, looking for a rear waist lock. He drags Ankalaev down despite a fence grab. One minute in. Ankalaev makes it back to his feet, lands a good knee downstairs as Krylov remains attached. They separate halfway through the round. Right hook from Ankalaev. Another on the counter. Another, eats a right hand in return. Krylov body kick with two minutes to go.
Krylov follows up with a head kick. Another body kick, eats a right hook in return. Ankalaev doubles up the check hook. Both land their power hands. Another clean right hook by Ankalaev. One minute to go. Krylov front kick and right hand, runs into the check hook. They trade right hands, counter left by Ankalaev as he takes a body kick. He shoots, can’t bring Krylov to the mat. 10-9 Krylov.
Round 2: Krylov with some early volume, avoids a head kick. Check hook from Ankalaev once again, then another. Again a minute in. He’s landing it over and over. Body kick from Krylov. Again. He changes levels, denied. Krylov right hand, blocks a head kick, eats that right hook again. Both land hard in the clinch and Ankalaev follows up with a body kick two minutes in. Another right hook. Ankalaev tosses aside a takedown attempt. They trade power hands. One minute in. Ankalaev shoots, puts him on the fence. Nice inside reap puts him on top. Round 1: De La Rosa comes out with some clean right crosses. Knee and left hand from Silva in return. De La Rosa looking sharp on the feet, but leans into a head kick. Knees from Silva, jockeying for position. Silva holding onto a front headlock against the fence. De La Rosa brings her down and pops her head out. Silva pops her head out two minutes in, grabs the fence to stop a takedown, prompting a point deduction. De La Rosa shoots in when they resume and they trade knees inside, Two minutes to go.
Lead right by De La Rosa. 1-2. Silva stalking forward, eats another 1-2. De La Rosa puts her on the fence, eats a hard elbow and knee. They separate. Silva stalking forward, has to fight off another takedown with a minute to go. She tries a spinning elbow. 10-8 De La Rosa with the point deduction.
Round 2: Silva back on the advance, cracks De La Rosa with a head kick and looks to attack. She stuffs a takedown, lands a knee. De La Rosa shoots but ends up on the bottom. Brutal punches from Silva on top. Posturing up for more big shots. She lets De La Rosa back up and goes back to stalking, looking a little tired. She stuffs a takedown two minutes in. De La Rosa landing solid counters, but still eating the occasional big shot. Hard knee and elbow from Silva in the Thai clinch. Heavy Browne elbow as De La Rosa changes levels. Two minutes to go.

Round 3: Silva opens with head kicks, lands hard clinch knees. Body kicks now and De La Rosa changes levels in return. Elbows from Silva as she defends a minute in. Now looking for a ninja choke, not there. Silva limp-legs out and blasts her with an uppercut before De La Rosa ties up again. Two minutes in. De La Rosa continuing to pursue the takedown. Round 1: Munhoz charges out with a head kick, slips, goes to the low kicks instead. Heavy left hook by Rivera. More Munhoz low kicks. Rivera lands a counter right off of one, blocks a head kick. One minute in. Munhoz tries a wheel kick, lands a nasty left hook. Another calf kick, eats a 1-2-3 in return. Some wild exchanges already. Jab visibly hurts Munhoz, who comes back with a big right hand. Two minutes in. Body kick from Munhoz. Big right cross by Rivera, left hook by Munhoz in return. Round 1: Caceres tries a hook kick to start as they meet in the center. Glancing check hook knocks Croom over for a moment. Croom continuing to press forward, eats a body kick and shoots. Caceres defends with underhooks, lands knees downstairs. Jockeying for position a minute in. They separate. Croom marches forward again, eats a 3-2. Caceres sending out lead-leg kicks, lands another check hook and gets pressed against the fence. Croom unable to get the takedown so far, good balance by Caceres. Two minutes to go.
Croom still looking to change levels, eats a knee on the break and looks for the back as Caceres slips. Caceres turns into guard. Nasty right hands before Croom manages to separate and stance. Croom shoots again and Caceres looks for the back in return. Jockeying for position once again. Croom tries to take him down, nearly eats a head kick, walks into a straight left. 10-9 Caceres.
Round 2: Croom barrels in for more takedown attempts, no dice. Nasty check hook hurts Croom for a moment. He shoots under a straight left, still can’t keep him down. Hunting the back. Caceres turns and hits him with a knee, only to be taken down into guard. Looking for a triangle, gets his legs in position. Trying to get the angle and he gets it, but Croom manages to power through it. Two minutes to go.
Caceres looks for an armbar, manages to turn and stand. Croom still holding onto the rear waist lock with a minute to go. Caceres turns to face him and gets underhooks. Croom regains the rear waist lock. 10-9 Caceres for the check hook and submissions.
Round 3: Croom continuing to plod forward, gets hurt by two counters and a third soon after. He shoots, eats a right hook on the break. Croom looks spent. He shoots through an uppercut, looks for the single-leg. Elbow from Caceres on one leg a minute in. He separates, lands an uppercut and right hook. Croom right straight, eats a counter body shot. Straight left catches him and he tries a double-leg. Nothing doing. Caceres drags him to his knees and Croom looks for top position. He gets it two minutes in. Caceres pops right back up against the fence and limp-legs out, cracking him with punches. Croom changes levels again, denied, ends up on the bottom after a granby roll. Caceres on top in guard. Good counter right after avoiding a Lawrence wheel kick. One minute in. Lawrence front kick. He feints, then changes levels for a takedown into half guard. Cachero regains guard. He tries an omoplata, can’t stand in the scramble. Two minutes in. Cachero manages to spin to his knees, briefly caught in the front headlock but manages to separate. Calf kick drops Cachero. 2-1 lands for him a bit later, then a low kick of his own. Knee and elbow by Lawrence. Two minutes to go.
Lawrence with another feint to level change, can’t establish. Cachero reverses on the fence, lands a nice elbow, takes a knee to the body. Good right hand stings Lawrence inside, prompting him to land a double-leg into guard. Cachero setting up a triangle, nothing doing. Round 3: Lawrence tries a flying knee, lands a spinning back kick, then drops Cachero with a low kick and tries to pound him out. Cachero survives and regains guard. Lawrence passes to half guard, staying heavy. One minute in. Now looking for the back, threatens an arm triangle, postures up for some ground and pound instead. Full mount, now the back, pouring on the hurt. Cachero manages to get to his knees, but Lawrence just keeps pounding until the ref intervenes.

205 lbs.: Maxim Grishin vs. Dustin Jacoby
Round 1: Low kick from Jacoby to start. Grishin slowly advancing, lands a leg kick of his own. Jacoby tries to jump in with a flying knee, settles for another calf kick. Head kick to straight left. One minute in. Grishin changes levels, takes him to the fence. Short knees before Jacoby separates. Grishin answers a low kick with a left hand that sends Jacoby stumbling to the mat. Grishin looks for the back, but falls off the top and they stand. Two minutes in. Knee and elbow from Jacoby, who separates. Back to the calf kick. Grishin puts him on the fence again.
