Anthony Johnson has undergone a body transformation ahead of his Bellator debut against Yoel Romero.
It doesn’t look like Anthony Johnson will be bulking back up to heavyweight anytime soon, as the former UFC light heavyweight title challenger has undergone a complete body transformation ahead of his Bellator debut against Yoel Romero next month.
‘Rumble’ is looking seriously lean in training camp, with MMA Mania’s Jesse Holland posting before and after pics (2018-2021) of his dramatic weight loss.
Johnson announced that he would be coming out of retirement last year and, although many fans presumed he would be returning to the UFC, the 36-year-old made the shock decision to sign with Bellator to participate in the promotion’s upcoming light heavyweight grand prix featuring Ryan Bader, Lyoto Machida, Corey Anderson, Dovletdzhan Yagshimuradov, and Yoel Romero.
Johnson will return to MMA after a four-year layoff to take on ‘Soldier of God’ in the first round of the grand prix at Bellator 257 on April 16. The highly anticipated event will take place at Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut.
