CEO estimates up to 12,000 attendance for “Strikeforce: Nashville” on April 17

Strikeforce CEO Scott Coker today told the media he expects 10,000 to 12,000 fans in attendance at next week’s “Strikeforce: Nashville” event.

The San Jose, Calif.-based promotion’s second CBS-televised event takes place at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tenn., which holds up to 20,000 fans. It is headlined by a middleweight title match between current champion Jake Shields and top-tier UFC import Dan Henderson.

Coker told MMAjunkie.com this past week that a modified seating configuration will be used for the event that will limit the number of total seats available.
