Belal Muhammad is hoping to earn his fifth straight win this Sat. night (March 13) when he faces off against Leon Edwards in the main event of UFC Vegas 21, which will go down inside UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Before then, let’s take a look at one of Muhammad’s most-impressive wins during his current hot streak. In Sept. 2019, Muhammad took on Takashi Sato at UFC 242 in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
After a fairly even first two rounds, Muhammad was able to score a takedown midway through round three. In an attempt to get out of the position, Sato gave up his back which Muhammad took advantage of by sinking in a fight-ending rear-naked choke.
Now, “Remember the Name” hopes to not only earn a huge upset victory over Edwards, but to earn a spot in the Top 10, as well. It will be a tough task to say the least because ‘Rocky” has long been one of the best 170-pound fighters in the world, and currently owns the No. 3 spot on the official UFC rankings.
