UFC 263 is beginning to shape up, as Hakeem Dawodu will meet Movsar Evloev on the card.
An exciting featherweight fight has been added to UFC 263 on June 12, as in-form featherweights Hakeem Dawodu and Movsar Evloev will meet on the card.
MMA DNA first reported the news, though the UFC is yet to officially announce the fight. A location or venue has not been revealed for UFC 263.
Dawodu (12-1-1) has won five straight fights since losing his UFC debut in 2017. Three of Dawodu’s wins have been split decisions, with the most recent being against Zubaria Tukhugov at UFC 253 last September. The Canadian was scheduled to fight Shane Burgos in January at UFC 257, but withdrew from the fight due to a shoulder injury.
The undefeated Evloev (14-0) has impressed in the UFC since making his debut in 2019. A former bantamweight champion with M-1 Challenge, Evloev has moved up 145-pounds for his four fights in the UFC. Evloev already has a win to his name this year, defeating Nik Lentz by split decision at UFC 257.
UFC 263 will be headlined by a UFC flyweight title rematch between Deiveson Figueiredo and Brandon Moreno. The two fought to a majority draw last December.
