Unless a third wave forces him back to the UFC APEX, Dana White is looking to put all of his future PPV events back into arenas with full crowds.

If things go Dana White’s way, UFC 260 will be the last UFC pay-per-view to be held inside the UFC APEX.

UFC 261 is set for Jacksonville Florida, and UFC 262 for Houston Texas. Both will feature full arenas full of fans. As for the much anticipated rubber match between Conor McGregor and Dustin Poirier? The UFC is hoping they can hold it in Las Vegas at the T-Mobile Arena.

“I hope so,” White said during the UFC 260 post-fight press conference. “We all hope so.”

As for when, nothing is set in stone but Dustin Poirier let the cat out of the bag regarding the date all parties involved in the fight are targeting: July 10th.

“What I’m hoping is we go to Jacksonville and then we go to Texas and then you know, Vegas, then we keep rolling with full, sold out events.”

White made it clear that the UFC was itching to get back out on the road and be done with most events at the APEX all together.

“Listen, don’t get me wrong, this is amazing, I’m sure it’s much easier for you guys too,” he said. “We pull into the parking lot, roll in. This is like people getting lazy working at home. You leave your pajama bottoms on, put on a nice top for your computer screen zoom meeting. It’s the easy lazy way to do things. But this isn’t the right thing to do. We should be in sold out arenas. Packed, fans going crazy.”

“Unfortunately we’re going to have to start travelling to all these cities again. But that’s the right thing to do. This is the easy lazy thing to do and it’s nice and it was awesome while it lasted, but hopefully this is over.”
