“What’s up, Dom? Heard you’re looking for a big fight. Who’s a bigger fight than me right now?”

Sean O’Malley has reciprocated Dominick Cruz’ interest in a bantamweight matchup, with ‘Suga’ calling out ‘The Dominator’ while putting the rest of the 135-pound division on notice.

O’Malley, who is fresh off a highlight reel KO against Thomas Almeida at UFC 260, called out Cruz in ultra-cool fashion in a recent video on his YouTube channel.

“What’s up, Dom? Heard you’re looking for a big fight,” O’Malley said (h/t MMA Fighting). “Who’s a bigger fight than me right now?”

“Cory [Sandhagen] is about to beat the EPO out of T.J. [Dillashaw], Rob [Font] is about to knock out Cody [Garbrandt] for the seventh time this year. Petr [Yan] is disqualified for cheating, Aljo’s still knocked out from the knee. Who’s the bigger fight?”

With O’Malley rebounding from his loss to Marlon Vera last year and Cruz snapping a two-fight skid with a workman like victory over Casey Kenney at UFC 259, the UFC would be foolish to ignore this matchup. A win for O’Malley catapults him into the top-ten and a victory for Cruz throws the UFC former bantamweight champ back into the mix.

Cruz is currently #9 in the UFC bantamweight rankings while O’Malley is looking to crack the top-ten with a win over a big name.
